New Publishing Deal

Well, this is one of those happy days. Some time ago I started talking to a new publisher, Boldwood Publishing, and I am delighted to be able to tell you that I have agreed contracts with them, and as a result they’re taking on eleven books from me.

Initially these will be the three Vintener stories, then a fourth, which will follow the archers into a mercenary army, with future books telling the story of the men as they move into the Pope’s territories in Avignon, and then over to Italy, where John Hawkwood becomes a notable success.

I’ve also been asked to write a follow up to Pilgrim’s War, which is to be a series set in the Holy Land from the siege of Jerusalem, past the battle of Hattin, loss of Jerusalem, and all the way through to the siege of Acre.

All of which means I am going to be hideously busy for several years to come. Which will, I hope, be glad tidings for a lot of my readers!

So, exciting news and, I am sure, very good news to my readers!

All in all, a very nice way to end the year!
